Fruit & vegetableHarvestCompanions

The vine that made wine, raisins, and a table cluster — food first, and a very old human partnership.

Wine grape is a Eurasian vine. Traditional use is as fruit, dried fruit, leaf wrapping, and fermented juice. Culinary ripe fruit is the path. Concord and muscadine are American cousins with their own plates in the kitchen if not yet in this catalog. Dogs and raisins are a known veterinary emergency — keep the bowl up.

Flavor

From foxy Concord to tight wine acid. Table grapes are bred for snap and sugar.
